Artist AP6G Cimmerian III Matte Black Electric Guitar w/ Active Pickups

Artist AP6G Cimmerian III Matte Black Electric Guitar w/ Active Pickups The Artist AP6G Cimmerian III takes an all-time classic and turns it up to 11. Redesigned from the ground up for modern metal and heavy music players, this iteration keeps the brutal foundation you love while delivering crucial playability upgrades. Featuring a sleek, slightly offset mahogany body, modern neck access joint, and upgraded ebony fretboard, the Cimmerian III is built to handle the most demanding technical riffing and shredding. Active Pickups Loaded with a set of custom Artist HMA active humbuckers, the AP6G is engineered for crushing gain with unmatched articulation. These high-output pickups deliver full-bodied chugs, squealing leads, and pinch harmonics for days, all while remaining whisper-quiet even under extreme distortion. Featuring a tight mid-range response, articulate lows, and crisp, cutting highs, they provide tight compression and lower noise so your tone retains maximum punch and definition. Performance Upgrades A solid, bound mahogany body finished in striking matte black ensures this guitar looks as lethal as it sounds, providing a sharp visual contrast for players whose wardrobes consist strictly of black deathcore band tees. The set mahogany neck is topped with a smooth 24-fret ebony fretboard, offering two full octaves of fast shred runway. Thoughtful design tweaks like a deeper belly cut, a slightly thinner neck profile, and a low-profile sunken toggle switch keep controls out of your picking path during aggressive live sets. High-Grade Hardware High-grade locking tuners, a gold Tune-o-Matic bridge, and a genuine bone nut ensure rock-solid tuning stability night after night. Paired with a redesigned headstock that ensures an optimised string break angle and a straight path from saddle to tuning machine, the Cimmerian III minimises string breakage and stays in tune no matter how hard you play.
