Paraffin Wax Emulsion 30% Manufacturers & Suppliers in India Paraffin Wax Emulsion 30% is an anionic, oil-in-water dispersion of refined paraffin wax at 30% solids. It is used as a water-repellent and surface-sizing agent in paper, kraft paper and duplex board manufacturing, imparting improved water resistance, gloss and surface smoothness to the finished sheet. Being a low-viscosity emulsion with fine, sub-micron particle size, it mixes easily into size press, coating and spray systems for uniform wax distribution. It remains a stable emulsion with no visible phase separation under normal storage. Applications: Surface sizing of kraft paper and duplex boards for improved water repellency. Internal / surface treatment to enhance moisture resistance in paper products. Improves gloss, smoothness and printability of the finished paper surface. Suitable for size press, coating and spray application systems Recommended Dosage: Typical starting dosage is 0.5% – 2.0% on dry fibre basis, optimised by trial based on the required water repellency (Cobb value) and machine conditions. A laboratory or plant trial is recommended before full-scale use. Storage & Handling: SStore at 5°C to 35°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight; protect from freezing and avoid prolonged storage above 40°C. Stir gently before use if any separation is observed.
