STANLEY No:2 Smoothing Plane. (43298)

A little plane with a 7” long sole, the rosewood tote has a chip near top of spur, the knob is good, remarkable paintwork for a plane of this age. The iron has the V logo. The lever cap is very nice and good clamping system, minor wear to the brass adjuster, the cap iron I feel may have been opened up as it’s fiddly to set up but once you get it works as it should. It’s sensitive to setting up. A good plane overall. Price is inclusive of postage to mainland U.K.
