This expressive King Hand Puppet was crafted circa Mid 20th Century and is stamped "Made in Germany" on the back of its neck. Its head is carefully hand painted and made from an early type of composition, heavier than newer materials. The body is made from various fabrics and finished with felt hands. The puppet shows signs of age and wear with chipping, scuffs, crack lines, stains and paint wear, specially on the head.
