DJI recommends no more than five transmitters operating together in the same area. Add receivers as the monitoring team grows, and check the channel conditions on location. Build your first camera-to-monitor link. Place one transceiver at the camera and set it to TX. Set the second unit to RX at the monitoring position. The Combo includes two cold shoe adapters, two NP-F battery adapters and two 50 cm firmware update cables, alongside the two transceivers. Prepare the rest of your shooting kit. Bring a compatible camera and display, a suitable power source for each unit, and the video cables your ports require. Operating batteries, monitors and the separately available DP video cable are not included. Choose the Expansion Accessory Kit if your planned setup needs SDI and the included mounting cage. This format requires the HDMI or DP connection on the transceiver itself; DP uses the bottom USB-C port. Check the source device, cable and monitor format before building your signal chain. Both units support either role, so you can reassign them when your camera and monitoring arrangement changes. Use HDMI or DP for a compatible monitor. A supported phone or tablet can connect by cable to the receiver for monitoring in the DJI Ronin app; the appropriate mobile-device cable is sold separately. SDI requires the separate Expansion Plate. The transceiver alone outputs through HDMI or DP, one at a time. Tablet and mobile-device connection cable are not included. Bring your Ronin workflow. Compatible gimbals include DJI RS 5, RS 4 Pro, RS 4 and RS 3 Pro. The USB-C to CAN control cable is required for RS 4 Pro, RS 4 and RS 3 Pro; RS 5 uses a USB-C to USB-C cable. DJI Focus Pro connection is not supported. Native vertical shooting is not supported with the transceiver mounted to the stabilizer through the Quick-Release Plate. What does the Combo add over the single-unit package?It supplies two transceivers rather than one, plus two of each listed cold shoe adapter, NP-F battery adapter and firmware update cable. It suits a new transmitter-and-receiver setup; a single unit suits expansion or replacement.Are batteries and video cables ready to use out of the box?No operating batteries or PD adapters are included. Plan power for both units using compatible NP-F batteries, supported gimbal power or USB-C PD adapters rated at 65 W or above. The included cables are firmware update cables; choose any required video or mobile-device cables separately.Does this Combo include eight receivers?No. There are two transceivers in the box. One transmitter can support up to eight receivers as a system capability, but extra transceivers and displays must be purchased separately.Are the two units permanently assigned to TX and RX?No. Each can take either role. For the initial camera-to-monitor link, configure one as the transmitter and the other as the receiver.Do I need the Expansion Accessory Kit for HDMI monitoring?The transceiver has HDMI and DP connections on the main unit.
