Domaine Trapet Pere et Fils, Trapet Pere & Fils Gevrey-Chambertin Ostrea, 2023 (Pre-Arrival ETA Late November 2026)
A village-level Pinot Noir from biodynamic pioneer Domaine Trapet, this old-vine cuvée comes from parcels planted between 1913 and 1920, their oldest on record. The name Ostrea derives from fossilized oysters found in the soil—a testament to the ancient mineral-rich terroir of Gevrey-Chambertin. On the nose, ripe red and dark raspberry mingle with violet and earthy minerality. The palate shows excellent richness and density with a subtle mineral thread throughout, finishing firm and austere in youth, promising graceful aging ahead.
