Lot 077 - Trio of Antique Carte De Visite C.D.V. Illustrated Filler Cards Depicting Genre Scenes Including Wine Cellar Gathering, Comic Hunting Party, and Woman Wading in a Stream

Trio of antique carte de visite C.D.V. illustrated filler cards, each reproducing a genre painting scene. One depicts a group of men gathered around a barrel in a wine cellar, raising glasses and bottles in a toast. The second shows a comic hunting scene with a man in a tricorn hat leading a group of hunters and a dog through the brush. The third depicts a woman with exposed breasts wading through a stream while two men watch from behind a fence. The wine cellar card is printed by Photographische Gesellschaft, Berlin, am Dönhofsplatz, with a pencil notation on the verso. The hunting scene and wading scene cards are both printed by G. K. Ackerman, Photographic Copyist & Printer, Junction Grand Street and East Broadway, New York. The cards show mild toning and light soiling consistent with age. The hunting scene card has a small spot of loss near center.
