An exceptional diamond ring, created around a beautiful 2.03ct GIA-certified natural emerald cut diamond acquired by Dobson Fine Jewellery. Rather than sourcing the ring as a finished piece, we had the opportunity to purchase the centre diamond first and had the setting made specifically to showcase it. The result is a bold yet beautifully balanced design, crafted in solid 18ct yellow and white gold to complement the stone and allow the exceptional centre diamond to remain the focus. The 2.03ct emerald cut centre displays the elegant step-cut faceting and distinctive hall-of-mirrors effect for which this diamond shape is so admired. Set in white gold to enhance its brightness, it is contrasted beautifully by the warmth of the 18ct yellow gold shank. Additional natural diamonds are set to the shoulders, with an estimated combined weight of approximately 0.65ct. Assessed mounted, these side diamonds are approximately H colour and VS clarity, adding further brilliance while maintaining the refined, geometric character of the design.
