Dark Brown Zari Checked Kanji silk saree

A deep coffee-brown body glows with the quiet warmth of polished wood, laid out in fine zari checks with golden mangai buttas rising between the squares like blossoms held in a lattice. Framing it on either side is a broad zari border, worked in traditional yaali and creeper motifs and running weighty and unbroken along the length. The pallu opens into a magnificent monotone expanse, its dense gold brocade unfurling in jewelled squares and temple bands, closing the saree with unhurried grandeur. A matching blouse completes this heirloom.
