Vintage African-Style Carved Wooden Hand Drum with Hide Top

This is a vintage African‑style carved wooden hand drum with a natural animal‑hide head. The cylindrical body is painted black and hand‑carved with geometric panels and a stylised tribal mask motif; the hide is stretched over the top and shows natural variations. It makes a distinctive decorative object for a living room, music space or themed interior. Dimensions Width: 18 cm Depth: 18 cm Height: 33 cm Condition Structurally sound as a decorative object. The painted finish has scratches, scuffs and small areas of paint loss, particularly around carved edges and the lower base. The hide top shows natural variations and some wear at the rim with small splits/holes visible in places. Playing condition is untested and we recommend seeking a drum tuner or percussion specialist if you intend to use it as an instrument.
