Antique-inspired, cushion-cut yellow sapphire solitaire engagement ring

Provenance Crafted in our own wonderful workshop using traditional techniques, this beautiful ring has been thoughtfully designed to be cherished for a lifetime of love and wear. At its centre sits a natural yellow sapphire, chosen for its exceptional quality and distinctive colour. This sapphire has been repurposed from a vintage piece and given a new lease of life here in this contemporary ring. The sapphire has a delicate elderflower yellow hue, square cushion-cut and set in a smooth rub-over setting, the design feels strikingly modern yet crafted and inspired by original antique rings. The gallery is smooth and solid, sitting low in profile for comfortable and practical wear. The shoulders are solid and flow to a solid gold D-shape shank. The yellow gold is 14ct - our favourite alloy for its durability and soft tone - and the ring has been hallmarked at Sheffield Assay Office.
