What is the RDL HD-PA35UA?The RDL HD-PA35UA is a 35 W RMS single-input amplifier with a 25 V, 70 V or 100 V constant-voltage output, designed as a single-zone amplifier for energy-efficient commercial systems. It includes bass and treble controls, a VCA-controlled master volume with remote adjustment, and an analog compressor/limiter that keeps peaks clean. The analog compressor/limiter keeps audio unclipped for input overloads of up to 20 dB, and a red LED flashes when it is preventing clipping. Raising the input gain lets the compressor substantially increase average output beyond a standard 35 W amplifier. Rear-panel DIP switches set the sleep delay from 10 minutes to 2 hours in 10 minute increments, or disable sleep for continuous operation. Soft-start switching protects the output from clicks and pops during power-up and power-down. A blue POWER LED is dim in standby and bright when active, and a front-panel pushbutton switches between standby and active modes.
