Gatorade Zoa
Coral: Gatorade Zoa (Zoanthus sp.) Frag sizes: Available in 2, 4, or 6 polyps. Photo: All frags are aquacultured from the exact colony shown. Adult polyp size: Approximately 0.25–0.375" across. Care level: Easy Lighting: Low to moderate Water flow: Low to moderate and indirect Placement: Lower to middle areas of the aquarium Gatorade Zoanthids feature green and orange oral discs surrounded by orange skirts. Their small polyps create a colorful display as the colony fills in, adding contrasting green and orange tones to a zoa garden. Available in 2, 4, and 6-polyp frags, all propagated from the colony pictured. Gatorade Zoa Care Provide low to moderate lighting and gentle to moderate indirect water flow. Allow room for the colony to spread across its frag plug and surrounding rockwork. Maintain stable water parameters and avoid strong direct flow that prevents the polyps from opening fully. Direct feeding is generally unnecessary, although occasional fine particulate coral foods may be beneficial. Handling: Zoanthids may contain palytoxin. Wear gloves and eye protection when handling or fragging, and never boil or expose them to hot water. All Lucky Corals Zoanthids are US aquacultured.
