Dunkermotoren ME52 Magnetic Pulse Generator

The Dunkermotoren ME52 gives a controller reliable speed and direction feedback from a geared motor without adding a wear point. It reads position through a magnetic ring and Hall sensors rather than an optical disc, so there are no contacting or light-sensitive parts to abrade, clog or fail — the kind of ruggedness that matters on high-cycle, dusty or dirty machinery where an optical encoder would struggle.Two quadrature output channels resolve both how fast the shaft turns and which way, and the pull-up resistor built into the open-collector output lets it wire straight into standard PLC and drive inputs with no external resistor network to design in. A wide supply window lets the same generator drop into 12 V or 24 V control systems, and it mounts directly to Dunkermotoren’s GR-series geared motors so feedback is integrated into the drive rather than bolted on separately.That suits it to conveyor and materials-handling lines, pump and valve actuators, and general motion-control tasks that need dependable feedback in demanding conditions.
