In this territory, the majesty of snow-capped Alps is reflected in the watery geometries of rice paddies and softens among rows of centuries-old vineyards. It is a land of slow rhythms and authentic charm, where medieval villages, castles, and silent lakes create a landscape where nature and tradition coexist in harmony. This book is an invitation to conscious exploration, away from the crowds. It is a journey dedicated to those who seek depth rather than spectacle, the tranquility of an Alpine valley or the soul of timeless villages perched on hillsides. Through the photographer's lens, every road becomes a discovery and every season a painting of different light. It is not just a visual narrative, but a tribute to an unexpected Piedmont that can surprise anyone who decides to truly observe it. Alessia Pavignano, born in Biella in 1986, has been a Digital Strategist for over 15 years. She works with companies and professionals in defining and managing digital strategies, from positioning to operational marketing and social media management. She also provides training and writes for newspapers, magazines, and digital projects, including articles, newsletters, and web texts. Her work intertwines data and language, transforming marketing objectives into coherent and measurable narratives. Writing is the common thread of her journey. Her participation in the Alto Piemonte book stems from this attitude: giving shape to images through words capable of restoring their context, identity, and depth. Marco Arduino took his first photo at 15, and since then photography has been his way of telling the world. In almost four decades, he has traveled hundreds of thousands of kilometers, chasing light, stories, and emotions. His photographs transform sunrises, sunsets, and landscapes into true visual narratives. Born in 1972, he is a professional photographer and certified EASA drone pilot. His style combines photojournalism and documentation, spanning travel reportage, architecture, wedding, food, stock, and aerial photography. Since 2017, he has been an exclusive photographer for Sime Photo, an international agency that collaborates with the best European professional photographers. His photographs have been published in media such as National Geographic, Geo Magazine, Lonely Planet, Condé Nast Traveller, Le Monde, and other important magazines, and selected by international publishers for calendars, puzzles, and high-quality products. In 2022, he co-authored the book Tutti Frutti, published by Sime Books.
