Spend a week immersed in creativity and learning from the masters of hand-piecing and embroidery. “Stitch Me a Story” is a one-of-a-kind, hand-stitched story cloth depicting a moment, a memory, or a milestone of significance to you. Begin by learning hand-piecing techniques, then creating elements and blocks to use as background layering for your cloth. Wool appliqué will be used to narrate your story. Learn tips and tricks for wool appliqué and how to enhance each element with multi-medium layering. Finish the week with hand embroidery, adding textural depth, enhancing interest, and bringing your piece to life.
