Les Topines — Ceramic Coffee Set, 2026 Created for the daily ritual of coffee, Les Topines is a handcrafted ceramic set composed of two cups and two individual saucers. The design brings together soft, rounded forms and the warm natural tone of Xing stoneware. Areas of exposed clay contrast with the luminous glaze, creating a balanced composition of earthy surfaces, rich colour and playful variation. The result is a tactile and expressive set in which each element feels both functional and distinctly sculptural. The saucers are shaped by hand using the slab-building technique, while the cups are individually formed on the potter’s wheel. Each piece is fired in an electric kiln at 1250°C, producing a durable stoneware body while preserving the depth and character of the material. Due to the handmade process and the natural behaviour of the glaze during firing, variations in colour, texture and finish are to be expected. These differences make every set unique.
