AQUACEL® EXTRA™ Hydrofiber® Dressing (Sterile) | Pack AQUACEL® EXTRA™ Hydrofiber® Dressing is a sterile, highly absorbent primary wound dressing designed to manage moderate to highly exuding acute and chronic wounds. Constructed from two layers of Hydrofiber® Technology stitched together, it provides significantly greater strength and absorbency than the original AQUACEL® Dressing, helping clinicians manage challenging wounds with greater efficiency. On contact with wound fluid, the dressing transforms into a soft cohesive gel that conforms closely to the wound bed. This helps maintain a moist wound healing environment, effectively manages exudate and supports comfortable, one-piece dressing removal. AQUACEL EXTRA™ is suitable for use under the direction of a healthcare professional across a wide range of wound types, including leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure injuries, surgical wounds and traumatic wounds.
