A very fine pair of 18ct Yellow & White Gold (tested), Retro, Clip Earrings, a Stylised Foliate Design set throughout with Diamonds, Burma Rubies & Sapphires. Circa 1940

A very fine pair of 18ct Yellow & White Gold (tested), Retro, Clip Earrings, comprising of a stylised foliate design set throughout with Diamonds, Burma Rubies & Sapphires. The six Diamonds have been independently assessed in their mounts as weighing approximately 0.35 Carats (total), of G-H Colour and VS2-SI1 Clarity, The twenty Sapphires and Myanmar (Burma), Rubies have been assessed in their mounts as approximately 1.40 Carats (total), with indication of thermal enhancement to part of the stones. they are Reddish Purple / Blue, lightly included. Weights are approximate due to settings. These beautiful clip earrings can easily be altered to include posts and are accompanied by an independent Gemmologist's report confirming the above assessment. Circa 1940.
