#3 Spiral Screw Extractor

The #3 spiral screw extractor removes broken, seized or stripped screws and bolts for 5/16"-7/16" (M8-M10) fasteners. Its reverse tapered flutes dig in as you turn counter-clockwise, backing the damaged fastener straight out. Overall length 66.7 mm. Reverse (left-hand) spiral flutes bite into the fastener and back it out as you turn counter-clockwise Hardened tool steel for repeated use Removes screws, bolts and studs with stripped, rounded or broken-off heads Works with a tap wrench, drill chuck or impact driver How to use: drill a pilot hole into the center of the broken fastener, insert the extractor, then turn counter-clockwise to grip and remove it.
