Carignano del Sulcis DOC Rosato "Flamingo" 2022 - U Tabarka/Tanca Gioia

“Flamingo” is a varietal Carignano rosé from the island of San Pietro, where ungrafted vines are rooted in sandy soils and constantly exposed to maritime winds. A short period of cold skin contact gives the wine its distinctive deep rosé hue, recalling the flamingos of Carloforte’s salt pans from which it takes its name. The 2022 vintage is notably generous in structure, yet remains lifted by freshness and the island’s characteristic saline imprint. Fragrant, savoury and distinctly gastronomic, it brings together red fruit, Mediterranean herbs and marine minerality in a poised, characterful style.
