Cookie C45 Skydiving Helmet

The Cookie C45 is a certified full-face skydiving and wind-tunnel helmet built around a lower-volume carbon-fibre shell, controlled ventilation and a fit you can tune. Four shell sizes cover eight helmet sizes from 2XS to 3XL, helping the helmet sit closer to the head without unnecessary bulk. Smaller, lighter and calmer at speed Every C45 uses a full carbon-fibre shell. The four-shell system reduces the external volume needed for each head size, while the refined shape was tested in fast, dynamic flight with stability at speed as a development priority. Choose from three finishes: Carbon Fibre with the exposed weave, Gloss White, or Matt Black. The construction is the same for all three. A fit you can tune The replaceable cheek-pad system lets you adjust how firmly the helmet holds your face. Cheek pads are available in 8, 16, 24 and 32 mm. Choose a thicker pad for a firmer hold or a thinner pad for more room. Measure both your head circumference and face circumference before ordering. If the face measurement is above the maximum for the selected shell, move to the next helmet size. Air moves through the helmet and exits at the rear. Cookie advises keeping the upper visor-airflow control open for skydiving to help reduce fogging. The C45 visor is designed to block high-speed airflow and particles while keeping a wide field of vision. Audible-altimeter pockets are positioned over both ears. It is not designed for motorised or non-motorised transport. Replace the helmet after a significant impact or accidental drop even when no damage is visible. Cookie also recommends replacement after three years of use, or sooner if the shell shows cracking, peeling or deformation. Clean the helmet with water, mild detergent and a soft cloth. Do not use ammonia, acidic cleaners, abrasive materials, chemical solvents, paint or adhesives.
