DAY 4/30 | Creating a Statement Necklace Inspired by Unexpected Beauty 🥂✨ Today's inspiration is this striking thorn-covered cocktail glass. A beautiful study in contrasts. It's where elegance meets edge. The delicate transparency of the glass feels light and refined, while the sculptural metallic thorns introduce strength, texture, and a touch of rebellion. What fascinates me most is the colour palette. The warm bronze and copper tones evoke aged metal, creating a rich, sophisticated warmth that's both timeless and unexpected. To bring this inspiration to life, I chose copper freshwater pearls, deep purple pearls, lavender pearls, and glass beads that mimic the sculptural, thorn-like details. Every element was carefully selected to capture the balance between softness and strength. One of the things I love most about designing jewellery is translating a feeling rather than recreating an object. This necklace isn't meant to look like a cocktail glass—it's an interpretation of its contrasts, textures, and mood. The result is a handcrafted statement necklace that feels elegant, sculptural, and just a little rebellious.
