Edamame Bean - Midori Star

Gardener’s Notes: Beans need warm weather to grow. Plant in late spring after night temperatures reach 50-55˚F (10-13˚C). Sow seeds 6 inches apart and 1 inch deep in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Keep soil evenly moist; mulch helps to maintain soil moisture and control weeds. In shorter season climates, seeds may be started indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost. Harvest while they are still green and beans are fully formed in the pod.
