Vintage Handmade Brass Crescent Moon Face Wall Hanging

A beautiful vintage brass crescent moon, with the most wonderful sculpted face and a lovely warm golden patina that has softened naturally with age. I love the expression on this one - slightly dreamy and a little mysterious, with the face worked in relief so the light catches the brow, nose and lips differently as you move around it. The brass has plenty of little marks, darker areas and variation across the surface too, which only makes it feel more special. I’ve added a length of black and white gingham ribbon so it’s ready to hang straight on the wall. It would be gorgeous tucked into a gallery wall amongst old photographs, paintings and collected objects, or hanging on its own above a bedside table or in a hallway. A really lovely celestial piece with so much character, and one of those wall decorations that instantly makes a space feel more personal.
