A Moment in the Tangle

Mist and fog became a recurring thread throughout this recent series of encaustic paintings. There is something about that veil that softens the landscape without obscuring its power or interest, if anything, it intensifies my connection to it. In each work I am exploring how to communicate these moments, as if they were hazy memories that have made imprints in my mind, but I can't full translate them.
