Grasslands Ladybird Left

15 x 15 cm Considered lucky by some and pretty by most, the ladybird, or ladybug, had to be included in the Grasslands collection. A welcome garden visitor, the hungry insect eats over 5,000 aphids in their lifetime. They are mostly solitary, preferring their own company, except when hibernating for the winter when they form large clusters of ladybirds, known as a loveliness of ladybirds. This insect has been carefully hand painted in tones of Delft navy blue to capture its distinctive features. A tiny, yet thoughtful detail can make all the difference to your tiled space. These playful, individual decors are offered facing either left or right, allowing you to customise the layout of your Grasslands design for personality and charm.
