Pressed Flower & Framing Workshop with The August Press

Spend an inspiring afternoon here at Maple Ridge Farm learning the art of flower pressing and creating a framed botanical piece you'll treasure for years to come. Led by the incredibly talented Kate Punnett of The August Press, this hands-on workshop is divided into two parts. You'll begin by learning advanced flower-pressing techniques using a selection of blooms grown right here on the farm. Then, drawing from Kate's beautiful collection of locally grown pressed flowers, you'll explore composition and design principles as you create and frame your own 8" x 10" botanical artwork. An heirloom of the season to take home and enjoy. You're welcome to bring a stack of heavy books, your own flower press, or pre-purchase one from Kate's line of professional flower presses and receive 15% off. Kate will bring your press to the workshop for you.
