A dainty and very pretty antique diamond solitaire ring dating from the early 20th Century c1910 -1 920's. This delightfully pretty ring is handcrafted in 18ct yellow gold with a Platinum setting and shoulders. The traditional crown claw setting has a gorgeous bright, white and sparkling old transitional cut diamond of approx 0.45 carat weight. It is assessed to be F colour and VS1/2 clarity. The platinum shoulders are grain set with three tiny single cut diamonds to each side, leading on to a plain polished yellow gold band. A beautiful heirloom ring with a timeless style that never dates. ERA : Early 20th Century. GEMSTONE : Earth mined natural old transitional cut diamond. HALLMARKS : Old 18ct stamp.
