Mélanie Pfister Berg Riesling 2024

The grapes from this Riesling come from four small plots set on hard limestone soil, in the northern part of Alsace. It’s cool, fresh and windy up here, so you get a pure, refreshing style of Riesling, compared to elsewhere in the region. The winemaking is very gentle - and it’s aged on fine lees for 18 long months in steel tanks. Plenty of time for the wine to soften and integrate. It all means you’re tasting the true character of great Riesling, made by one of the best young winemakers in Alsace.
