60x Lovage Levisticum Officinale Herb Seeds The herb lovage has deeply split dark green leaves and has a celery-like appearance and flavour. Although the base of the lovage plant can also be consumed like a vegetable, the leaves and seeds are mostly used. Lovage may be used in dishes as a substitute of celery or parsley, it is recommended to use it in a reduced amount due to its stronger flavour. Growing instructions: Sow the Lovage Levisticum Officinale Herb seeds from March to May. Thinly sow seeds into trays (2cm deep). Germination usually takes 10-14 days and once the seedlings have germinated and have grown 10-15cm tall, transplant the seeds or spread the plants 30-50cm apart as Lovage can grow up to 2 meter tall. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm summer days. Harvest from June through to October.
