MF Soda Fired cup/Yunomi Dark

Yunomi with a taller foot and soda fired. They are coated in a slip made of dark local clays and a small amount of cobalt. During the firing, soda ash is introduced into the kiln; shifting the color from reddish black to the deep blue. There are varying amounts of blue:black between the pieces, but I'll try to include a range in all orders. Finished in a simple glaze on the inside for ease of cleaning. About 3.5-4" tall
