Needle Nook is joining Laura Nelkin’s Brioche Boomerang Flash KAL — and we want you to knit along with us! If brioche has always looked a little intimidating, this is the perfect time to give it a try. We’ll tackle those mysterious-looking stitches together and turn them into a beautiful Brioche Boomerang. The Official Flash KAL Laura’s Flash KAL kicks off September 3 in her Ravelry and Facebook groups, where she’ll be awarding daily prizes, plus a final grand prize on September 8. Participating in Laura’s online KAL is easy: post photos, ask questions, share your progress and hang out with the group. Even better? The Brioche Boomerang pattern is only $3 through September 7 and includes a step-by-step video tutorial to help you master two-color brioche. And at Needle Nook… We’re taking the KAL offline and into the Nook! Join us Saturdays in September from 2–4 PM to work on our Brioche Boomerangs together. This is a Knit-Along, not a class, but Laura’s step-by-step video tutorial combined with a table full of knitters makes this a pretty great opportunity to give it a try. CANCELLATION POLICY: If you have to cancel more than 7 days prior to the first session, you will receive store credit for the full amount. If it is 7 to 2 days (48 hours) prior, you will receive store credit for 50 percent of the full amount.
