Movimento

Movimento is a compact sculptural form with a pale, textured surface and two pronounced openings that give the object an internal sense of depth. Its irregular volume shifts between vessel-like structure and abstract body, while the asymmetry of the openings creates a subtle tension between stability and movement. The work’s surface preserves a granular, tactile quality, bringing the material to the foreground. Seen from different angles, the openings alter the relationship between exterior mass and interior space, making the sculpture change perceptually as it is approached.
