NITRIDE 1/8 is an innovative electronic speed controller for sensored brushless DC motors, designed especially for the demanding conditions of 1/8th onroad racing, but perfect also for 1/8th offroad racing. Using Advanced Cooling Technology based on Aluminium Nitride Ceramic cooler, NITRIDE 1/8 has excellent thermal conductivity and can be used with powerful motors up to 2800 kV. NITRIDE 1/8 boasts a TFT LCD color display allowing quick and easy adjustment of all parameters, post-race data evaluation and self-diagnostics without the need for any other interface/device. Advanced Cooling Technology with Ceramic & Thick Film Technology Advanced cooling technology based on Aluminium Nitride Ceramic Cooler, developed especially for the NITRIDE series, provides the ESC with excellent thermal conductivity and long-term resistance to high temperatures and loads. Aluminium Nitride Ceramic improves efficiency by a further 15% compared to Aluminium Oxide. Easy Installation Installation of your NITRIDE 1/8 is quick and easy - you can stick it directly to the chassis using the recommended 3M GPH-110 double-sided tape which is included. If better cooling effect is desired, you can stick NITRIDE 1/8 on any thermal conductive plate (for example aluminium) in the car. NITRIDE 1/8 can be also installed using two M2.5 screws. They must always be fully screwed in and tightened enough to ensure heat transfer between ceramic cooler and aluminium ESC housing, even if using the double-sided tape. Power MOSFET transistors are attached on very thick silver layer with low resistance and high current capability. The silver layer is fired directly on the Aluminium Nitride Cooler using temperature above 850°C for excellent long-term reliability and thermal shock stability.
