The Charm Shirt — Summer Stories

White poplin scattered with hand-embroidered summer motifs and sequin accents — evil eyes, hearts, stars, suns, crescent moons, watermelons. Every motif is placed by hand. No two shirts land the same way. Poplin is the right fabric for this kind of work. It's tightly woven, which means it holds embroidery without puckering and keeps its shape around the sequin placements. The white base lets the colour in each motif do its job — nothing competes, everything shows. This is not a shirt that stays in the background. Why it takes time Every motif is sewn and placed by hand. Sequin work requires precise individual placement — there is no shortcut that produces the same result.
