Skin soft merino, smooth as butter cream. The fiber in this yarn is from our gray and moorit (brown) sheep. All of our yarn is 100% Montana grown and made from naturally colored merino sheep; no dyes, just mother nature's rainbow of colors. Pasture raised on our farm in the Flathead Valley, our Merino sheep are supplemented with hay and grain which is locally grown and milled custom for us. Our fiber is washed and processed at The Wool Mill in Belgrade, MT, a zero waste, solar powered mill. We work with the mill owner to design the best color combinations and products for the fiber our sheep grow. If you really want to know where your clothes and textiles comes from, this is as homegrown as it gets.
