Why Are Dynamic+ Coil Spring Sleeves Needed? The 034Motorsport Dynamic+ Lowering Springs are engineered as more than simply shorter replacement springs. Contrary to common belief, lowering springs are not necessarily shorter in their unloaded state. Instead, the spring design incorporates sections where the coils sit closer together, allowing them to compress and stack under load to achieve the desired lower ride height. Coil stacking is a common and intentional characteristic of many aftermarket lowering springs, coilover systems, and certain OEM suspension designs. The amount of stacking required depends on the suspension geometry and the engineering requirements of each vehicle. During heavy suspension compression, closely positioned coils can make contact and potentially create additional noise. To help minimise this, 034Motorsport provides Dynamic+ Coil Spring Sleeves where required. These sleeves are designed to reduce noise between contacting coils and are supplied as a pair, pre-installed in the correct position when applicable.
