The handles are Ebony with sterling silver inlays and pins. Ratyoke is a professional jeweler and has been making lock picks since 2008. His picks are made one at a time without any CNC or laser cutting, primarily using exotic hardwoods for his pick handles. His jewelry and metalwork has won both national and international awards and is in the permanent collection of several museums.
