Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur Volnay 1er Cru "Taillepieds" 2024

An overtly floral-infused nose is again fresh, cool and airy with its array of the essence of red pinot fruit, violet, rose petal and wet stone. There is fine volume and excellent punch to the utterly delicious and almost painfully intense flavors that brim with a borderline aggressive minerality on the youthfully austere, firm and very much built-to-age finale. This is classic Taillepieds along with the patience it's going to need. Well-worth considering. Burghound 91-93
