Patched Black Cat — Handmade Bag Charm

I first made this black cat back in February. If you’ve been following me on IG for a while, you may remember that version — it looked quite different from this one. I liked the idea, but something about the first version never felt quite right, so I kept putting it aside, changing the shape and adjusting little details here and there. Somehow, it dragged on until now. Halloween is still a while away, but handmade pieces take time, so I have to start preparing early. It felt like a good time to finally bring this black cat back. Both the black body fabric and the small patches stitched onto it are made from plant-dyed rustic cotton. I added button eyes, visible hand stitching, and little fabric patches one by one, so each cat naturally comes out a little different.
