Handmade Small Tassel with Oval Top Bead #181

This tassel is my small size. Approximate Size: 9.5 in. Total Length 3.5 in. Loop at Top 4 in. Fringe 0.75 in. Top bead 1.5 in. at Widest I often get asked if I can make my tassel styles in different sizes. While that seems like a simple request, it's often not possible because of the scale of the materials I use. I can't always find a smaller or larger version of top beads or the other decorative details I use. In this case, I got lucky and found a small version of the wooden oval bead that I use for my larger tassels! I jumped at the chance to create a small version of one of my most popular tassels. Furniture tassels are surprisingly versatile! You can hang them from doorknobs or dresser knobs. They look beautiful as a key tassel for your chest of drawers or other locking cabinets. Any glass cabinet of curiosities is just calling for a tassel in my opinion. I play around with looping them into my lamp shades, but you can also use them in curtain tie backs for a more traditional use. I've even used small tassels wrapped around my candles (when they aren't lit of course), and around lidded containers in the bathroom and kitchen.
