One locking nut per wheel is enough to make an alloy a great deal harder to remove, which matters on a car that spends any time parked in public. Designed Around The MMX Stud Kit This kit is not a universal locking nut set. The nuts are cut with the same tapered seat and thread as the MMX conversion kit, so the clamping load and seating are identical to the standard nuts already on the car. That keeps torque figures and wheel location unchanged, which a generic locking nut cannot guarantee. Compatible With Both Stud Lengths The nuts fit both the 70mm and 80mm MMX stud lengths, so they suit a standard fitment as well as a car running spacers on the longer studs.
