- Looming Loom - The 2026 collection “Looming Loom” begins with the idea of spinning yarn into fabric, then treating that fabric once again as if it were yarn, weaving it vertically and horizontally to create a new textile. Rather than seeing fabric as a finished surface, They look closely into its inner structure, enlarging and observing it to uncover hidden phenomena and ideas. Through this recursive process, where a new fabric seems to emerge from within the same cloth, the collection reobserves and reinterprets the archives of YANTOR has created over the years from a different perspective. Looming Loom 糸を紡いで布を作り、 その布をさらに「糸のように扱って」再び縦横に組み、新たな布を作るまた布の内部に入り込むように、拡大して観察することで現象やアイデアを発掘していく。このように同じ布の中から新たな布が生み出されるといった再帰的なプロセスで、今までに制作してきたアーカイブを角度を変えながら観察し、再解釈したコレクションとなります。 YANTOR 2026 COLLECTION
