Altos Las Hormigas Blanco White Wine

A blend of Chenin Blanc, Pedro Giménez, and Semillon—three emblematic white grape varieties of Mendoza—Blanco is a wine that unvarnishedly showcases its terroir. It displays a greenish-yellow color with steely highlights. The nose is complex and expressive, revealing notes of white pepper, kumquat, creosote bush, white peach, jalapeño, white flowers, and a subtle tropical note reminiscent of passion fruit. On the palate, it is very juicy and textured. The mouthfeel is fresh, with the acidity leading the way. It has a saline finish with floral notes. This is a very drinkable wine, ideal as a characterful aperitif or paired with white meats, light sauces, or ocean and river fish.
