Even after swallowing, the deep scents of hazelnut and cocoa, along with a smooth, honey-like texture, linger. The faint sweet and sour notes of plum and apple add a multifaceted richness to this coffee. It is an attractive bean that allows you to make it nuttier or highlight the fruit nuances depending on how you brew it. Honduran's Affection, Parainema Parainema is a variety developed in Honduras, and the affection for this variety is so exceptional that there is a separate Parainema category in the COE auction and a distinct coffee competition called "Best of Parainema." Initially, it was developed as a variety resistant to pests and diseases. However, upon actual cultivation, it proved to have stable yields, and after winning the COE in 2015, it was discovered to possess significant potential in flavor expression as well. I have been introducing a lot of Honduran coffee this year, and I hope that through this coffee, you can get a sense of how long Honduras has been cherishing a single variety.
