Progresso Graphite Pencils are woodless, round sticks of pure graphite combined with fine clay to achieve a high-quality drawing implement.Each pencil is tapered at one end for fine line drawing, but can also be used to achieve wide strokes, and large areas of shading. They are lacquered to ensure the fingers stay clean while working.
