Scott Peterson Signed Postcard

This is a signed postcard sent by Scott Peterson to one of his pen pals while in San Quentin State Prison in California. The front side has Peterson’s typed name and return address, and the reverse side has a handwritten note from him. At the conclusion he signed his name “Scott.” COA included Scott Peterson is an American man convicted in connection with the 2002 murder of his pregnant wife, Laci Peterson, and their unborn son, Conner, in California. The case drew intense national media attention after Laci disappeared on Christmas Eve from the couple’s home in Modesto, leading to a months-long investigation and search effort. Prosecutors argued Peterson murdered Laci to escape impending family responsibilities and continue an extramarital affair, pointing to deceptive behavior and circumstantial evidence presented at trial. In 2004, he was convicted of first-degree murder for Laci’s death and second-degree murder for the death of their unborn son. Peterson was originally sentenced to death, but the sentence was later overturned, and he is now serving life in prison without the possibility of parole.
