Arum Lily (Zantedeschia aethiopica) Sun: Full sun to partial shade. Prefers bright light but thrives especially well in semi-shaded, moist areas. Water: High water needs. Keep soil consistently moist; ideal for planting near ponds or water features. Reduce watering slightly in winter if dormant. Soil: Rich, well-draining soil with plenty of organic matter. Tolerates wet soils and even shallow water conditions. Height: 60 cm – 1 m Width: 60 cm – 1 m Growth: Fast-growing, clump-forming perennial. Features: Elegant white, trumpet-shaped flowers with glossy green foliage. Long flowering period from spring to early summer. Attracts pollinators. Uses: Ideal for water-wise gardens (in wet zones), borders, containers, and pond edges. Excellent as a cut flower. Care: Feed with compost or balanced fertilizer during growing season. Remove spent flowers and old leaves. Divide clumps every few years to maintain vigor. Frost: Light frost tolerant. In colder areas, foliage may die back but will reshoot in spring.
