Pure Silk Scarf. 80 x 80cm. Comes with box. This design is inspired by the 'Parāoa' (Sperm Whale). The presence of 'Parāoa' in the nearby moana are a sign of abundance and the wealth of the people. In the background is the matakupenga pattern which represents a connection to the realm of tangaroa. The colours are inspired by the ocean at dawn. There is a smooth greenstone-like colour that shimmers when the moana reflects the sun. Original design by Aritaua. Made in China. Photos featured are samples.
